Estate Planning
We are committed to providing our client’s the full range of estate planning services. This includes ensuring our clients consider making a will to direct the distribution of assets, a general power of attorney to assure that assets can be dealt with upon incapacity, and Advance Directives for Health Care including a Living Will and a Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care. In addition, depending upon our client’s objectives, we will review whether a Trust or other Probate avoidance methods are appropriate. We recognize that each person’s estate and financial situation is unique. We will take the time to identify your specific concerns and offer cost effective solutions.
Trusts can serve a variety of needs and we will review with you whether a Trust may be helpful in passing assets outside of Probate, minimizing the impact of estate taxes or ensuring assets will pass to the individuals you select. There are various types designed for specific purposes.
